For the past three years, Restoration Church in Mission, Texas has worshipped, served, and gathered together through every season—on a parking lot made entirely of dust.

Week after week, our congregation showed up faithfully, even as our vehicles, shoes, and feet were coated with a fine layer of dirt. Sandals became dust magnets. Windy Sundays felt like desert storms. But we pressed on—not because of a perfect property, but because we believed in a perfect God.

Today, we are thrilled to share a major milestone in our church's story:
Through the incredible support of generous donors, consistent prayer, and God’s faithful provision, we’ve been able to bring this long-awaited dream to life.

This project goes far beyond convenience or appearance. A paved parking lot means:

• Safer and more accessible entry for all attendees
• A clean, welcoming environment for visitors and members
• A physical reflection of the excellence and care we bring to all we do
• A foundation for future growth and ministry
• It’s a sign—not of luxury—but of stability. It represents what God can do when people come together in faith.

What if the presence of God isn’t something we visit — but something we carry?
This week, Pastor Maria Madrigal reminded us that God no longer dwells in temples made with human hands. Instead, He chooses to live within us — His people. The message was a powerful call to become a true home for God’s presence.

“However, the Most High does not dwell in houses made by human hands...”

1️⃣ Repentance is the Doorway
Before God can dwell in us, we must make room. That starts with a heart of repentance — letting go of sin and anything that competes for His place.

2️⃣ Be Genuine
God doesn't want performance. He desires honesty, humility, and a heart that’s real with Him. Pastor Maria challenged us to stop pretending and start being fully present with God.

3️⃣ Relationship, Not Religion
God’s presence isn’t found in routines — it’s found in relationship. He wants to walk with us, speak to us, and live through us every day.

You don’t have to go far to find God — He’s closer than you think. You are His home. And He’s building something in you!
